How to make CHICKEN CURRY

Preparation Time:- 30 mins

Servings:- 2


INGREDIENTS:

Chicken 600 gm 

Onion & tomato paste (boil 1 tomato & onion 1 grind it into a paste)

Crushed fried onion/barista ½ 

Bay leaf/tej patta 2

Green cardamom/hari elaichi 4-5

Star anise/chakr phool 1

Cloves/laung 4-5

Cinnamon stick/dalchini 2

Black cardamom/badi elaichi 2

Coriander powder/dhanya powder 2 tsp

Red chilli powder 1 tsp

Turmeric powder/haldi powder 1 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Salt as per taste

Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

Curd/dahi 3 tbsp

Kewra water/rose water 2 drops

Coriander leaves (chopped) garnishing

Cream/malai garnishing


METHOD:

Turn on flame and heat cooker

Add oil

Let it heat on medium flame

Add whole spices (green cardamom, cloves, black cardamom, bay leaf, star anise, cinnamon stick)

Roast it

Add ginger-garlic paste 

Saute it

Add chicken 

Cook till it changes the colour 

Add masala (coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala)

Add water 

Cook till oil comes on top

Add 2 big spoon onion tomato paste

Mix well 

Add little water

Place the lid 

Take 2 whistles till chicken tender

Open and check it

Once it has done 

Cook till oil comes on top

Add 2 tbsp fried onions, curd

Roast it on medium flame 

Till oil comes on top

Add kewra water/rose water

Add little water

Cover and cook for 2-5 mins 

Garnish with coriander leaves and cream 

Serve with naan/rice

Serve hot.
