How to Make CHINESE STARTER KUNG PAO | Super Easy Kung Pao Recipe

Preparations time:-10-12  mins
Servings:-2-3


INGREDIENTS:
For veg variants
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) 2 tsp
Onion (finely chopped) 2 tsp
Ginger (finely chopped) 1tsp
Vegetables (cauliflower, mushrooms, onion diced, carrots, french beans, capsicum) 300 gm 
Red chilli paste 1 tbsp (dried red chilli soaked in lukewarm water and then grind)
Hot and sweet sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Oyster sauce 1 tsp
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Aromat powder/Maggi seasoning 1 tsp
Spring onion (green part)
Food wine (optional)


METHOD:
For veg variant
Turn on the flame and heat wok
Add oil
Let it heat on high flame 
Add garlic, onion, ginger, roast it
Add cauliflower, mushrooms, french beans, carrot, onion, capsicum (you can use any vegetables of your choice) fry for a min
Add little water mix it
Add red chilli paste, hot and sweet sauce, tomato ketchup, oyster sauce, soya sauce mix well
Add the pinch of salt,(because oyster and soya sauce has little salt content) aromat powder/Maggi seasoning give a good mix
Add spring onion stir it 
Lastly, add a pinch of food wine(optional) mix well 
Garnish with spring onion 
Serve hot.

For Non-veg variants
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) 2 tbsp
Onion (finely chopped) 2 tbsp
Ginger (finely chopped) 1 tsp
Dry red chilli (sukhi lal mirchi)
Star anise (chakr phool) 2
Capsicum (diced)
Onion (diced)
Fried chicken cubes 8-10 pcs ( chicken cubes + 2tbsp maida + 1 tbsp cornflour, salt n pepper + little water mix well and deep fry or you can use chicken pakoda or boiled chicken)
Red chilli paste 1 tbsp (dried red chillies soaked in lukewarm water and then grind)
Hot and sweet sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Aromat powder/maggi seasoning 1 tsp
White pepper 1 tsp
Food wine (optional)
Spring onion (garnishing)


METHOD:
For Non-veg variant
Turn on the flame and heat wok
Add oil
Let it heat on high flame
Add garlic, onion, ginger, dry red chilli, star anise roast it
Add little water mix it
Add capsicum, onion fry for a min
Add fried chicken/chicken pakora/boiled chicken mix it 
Add red chilli paste, hot and sweet sauce, tomato ketchup, oyster sauce, soya sauce mix well
Add a pinch of salt, aromat powder/Maggi seasoning,  white pepper, give a good mix
Add food wine (optional)
Garnish with spring onion 


Serve hot.
